About Medcasts

Does MedCasts own any hospitals?

Medcasts editorial team

No. We're a coordinator, not an operator. Every hospital we list is an independently owned and operated facility — MedCasts' role is matching you to the right one, negotiating an itemized quote, and handling logistics. Clinical responsibility stays with the hospital and operating doctor. This is deliberate: we'd prefer to have a free hand to shortlist honestly rather than push patients toward our own facility.

This answer is general information, not medical advice. Your own doctor should confirm what applies to your case.

How this page is made

Methodology and editorial standards

Answers are written by the Medcasts editorial team and updated when prices, guidelines or visa rules change.

  1. Hospital data. Accreditation, licences and facilities are checked against public registries (JCI, NABH, health-ministry licence lists) and hospital documents, and rechecked regularly.
  2. Doctor credentials. Qualifications and specialty come from the doctor's hospital profile and national medical council registers.
  3. Prices. Price ranges come from written hospital quotes and packages, not advertised rates.
  4. Clinical text. Written by our editorial team and checked against current published guidelines before it goes live.
  5. Independence. Hospitals cannot pay to change their position on our pages.
