CyberKnife

Robotically-guided radiation therapy delivering precise high-dose radiation to tumours while sparing surrounding tissue.

CyberKnife is a specific brand of stereotactic radiosurgery platform that uses a robot-mounted linear accelerator to deliver pencil-beam radiation from many angles. Typically 1-5 sessions vs 30+ for conventional radiotherapy. Strongest evidence: brain mets, early-stage lung, prostate, spinal tumours. Not proven superior to standard SBRT for most indications, despite marketing claims.
