Bangkok and Phuket have the densest medical-tourism infrastructure. If your procedure needs staged rehab, explicitly request the MT-A extension during initial application — doing it after arrival through an immigration office takes 7-14 working days. Avoid the 30-day visa-exempt stamp for surgical travel; extending it is harder than extending an MT.
