Green — Routine

Continue monitoring. Contact your coordinator at next check-in.

  • Mild soreness at incision site
  • Minor bruising around wound
  • Slight fatigue that improves with rest
  • Normal appetite variations
  • Mild stiffness in the morning

Yellow — Contact coordinator

Reach out immediately. Do not wait for your scheduled check-in.

  • Fever above 38°C for more than 24h
  • Increasing redness or swelling at wound
  • Drainage that is yellow or foul-smelling
  • Persistent dizziness or shortness of breath
  • Pain not controlled by prescribed medication
  • Unable to pass urine in 8+ hours

Red — Call emergency now

For life-threatening symptoms. Call emergency services in your destination country.

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Sudden severe shortness of breath
  • Bleeding that won't stop
  • Signs of stroke (face droop, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Severe allergic reaction
