Best travel windows are spring (April–June) and fall (September–October). Istanbul winter is cool and rainy; comfortable for recovery if not snow-loving. Summer (July–August) is very hot in coastal areas and Istanbul can be uncomfortable. Antalya summer is brutal for non-acclimatized travelers.
