Anlayış: NABH
NABH was established in 2005 as part of India's Quality Council framework. Standards cover all major hospital processes: governance, patient rights, clinical care, anesthesia, surgery, infection control, medication management, human resource management, and continuous quality improvement.
NABH has tiers: Full accreditation (comprehensive standards), Entry-Level (smaller hospitals), Healthcare Service Provider (clinics), and various sub-specialty accreditations. Full NABH at a tertiary hospital is comparable in rigor to JCI.

- India-specific quality framework with deep penetration — most major private hospitals are NABH-accredited.

- Enables hospitals to participate in major insurance networks and government schemes (Ayushman Bharat).

Hospitals apply, undergo self-assessment, then on-site survey by NABH-trained surveyors (physicians, nurses, hospital administrators). 3-year cycle. Cost typically less than JCI ($10,000-40,000) but rigor is similar.
Sinyal gücü
Strong baseline for Indian hospitals. When combined with JCI, it's a very strong dual signal. NABH-only is appropriate for many cases; international patients often look for JCI as an additional layer.
