A review of your diagnosis and treatment plan by a second independent specialist, often changing the recommendation.
A medical second opinion means asking a different specialist to review your case records and give their clinical interpretation. Particularly valuable for oncology, neurosurgery, complex orthopedic, and any case where irreversible treatment is being recommended. Studies consistently show 10-30% of cases get a materially different recommendation on second review.
